These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Global Institute: School of Leadership & Policy website, services, and programmes. By accessing our website, registering for an activity, or making a payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Use of Services

Our website and programmes are intended solely for lawful purposes. You agree not to misuse our platform, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its functionality, or use it for fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful activities. The Institute reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

All content available on this website, including but not limited to logos, course materials, publications, images, graphics, and written content, is the intellectual property of the Global Institute: School of Leadership & Policy, unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use such materials for commercial or public purposes without prior written consent.

3. Programme Participation

Enrolment in any course, fellowship, or event is subject to eligibility, availability, and selection by the Institute. The Institute reserves the right to deny or withdraw participation if false information is provided, or in cases of misconduct, non-compliance, or breach of any Institute policy. Participants are expected to act ethically and respectfully at all times during programme involvement.

4. Payments and Refunds

Where applicable, all fees must be paid in full by the stated deadlines through the authorised payment channel on our website. Unless expressly stated otherwise, all fees are non-refundable.

In exceptional circumstances, a refund or e-voucher credit may be considered at the sole discretion of the Institute, upon written request within seven (7) days of payment. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method, subject to administrative deductions.

All fees are charged in GBP. Any currency conversion, transfer, or bank processing fees are the responsibility of the payer.

5. Scholarships and Funding

Scholarships or financial assistance provided by the Institute are conditional and may be withdrawn at any time in cases of non-compliance with programme requirements, misconduct, or breach of these Terms. Recipients are expected to maintain integrity, professionalism, and alignment with the Institute’s mission and values.

6. Visa and Travel Support

The Institute offers full visa support to selected participants, including invitation letters and required documentation.
However, visa approval is at the sole discretion of the issuing authorities, and the Institute cannot guarantee successful issuance. The Institute will not be liable for any loss, cost, or inconvenience caused by visa refusal, delay, cancellation, or travel disruption. Participants are responsible for securing valid travel insurance and complying with travel regulations.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data will be collected, stored, and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our website or participating in our programmes, you consent to the use of your data for administrative, academic, or communication purposes as outlined in that policy. The Institute will not sell or share your personal information with unauthorised third parties.

8. Payment Security

All payments made through our website are processed securely via trusted third-party payment processors such as Stripe or PayPal. The Institute does not store or have access to full credit or debit card details. By completing a transaction, you agree to comply with the terms and privacy policies of our payment processor.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Institute shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from:

• the use of or inability to use our website,
•participation in our programmes, or
•reliance on any information provided by the Institute.

Participants are solely responsible for their travel, visas, accommodation, health, and insurance arrangements unless otherwise stated in writing.

10. Amendments

The Global Institute reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website or services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
