This is an institution for the study and practice of leadership, public policy, governance and diplomacy, delivering executive education and applied research for professionals working across government, multilateral institutions and public affairs.
The Institute organises its work around a single principle: every initiative whether a conference, fellowship, certification, event or educational tour is built around a defined subject, a structured process and a stated purpose, rather than run as a general-purpose activity. Programmes are developed around applied policy & leadership content rather than general instruction, and are reviewed on a rolling basis to reflect current governance and international-affairs practice. Contributors are selected on the basis of professional or research background relevant to the subject area of a given initiative, and each initiative like conference, fellowship, certification, event or tour follows criteria set out in advance, from eligibility and selection through to completion.

Global Institute | School of Leadership & Policy is a community interest and research institution focused on leadership, public policy, governance, diplomacy and executive education, delivering programmes for people from all over the world.
The Institute organises conferences, fellowships, certifications, events and educational tours, each built around a defined subject and a structured process. Current and forthcoming programmes are listed on the Programmes page.
Applicants of all ages and backgrounds are welcome, including professionals, social entrepreneurs, social workers and students from around the world.
Application fees for our funded scholarship categories are non-refundable under any circumstances, as these cover a legal administrative processing fee. For self-funded participation, if you are unable to attend after submitting your participation confirmation, the fee may be issued as an e-voucher rather than a cash refund, subject to our voucher policy and terms and conditions.
Application and registration fees can be paid by debit or credit card through our official application forms, via our secured, internationally recognised Stripe payment gateway.
If you are conducting research or working on a project, you can contact us by email with your proposal. We will list it free of charge on our official website and social media, and acknowledge your contribution with a certificate. You will also have the opportunity to secure a funded scholarship to participate in our programmes, subject to our selection process.
